Remote Back End Developer - Backbase

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience integrating and extending the Backbase digital banking platform.
• A minimum of 5 years of production-level experience with Java is required.
• Knowledge of Spring and its extensions, including Web MVC, Spring Boot, and Spring Security, is essential.
• Familiarity with SOAP and RESTful Web Services, as well as tools like XML, JSON, and RAML, is necessary.
• Candidates should have knowledge of microservices architecture and experience performing Unit Testing using JUnit.
• Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic, or JBoss is required.
• A strong grasp of Git, Subversion, and other source control technologies is needed.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Integration Patterns and frameworks like Apache Camel is preferred.
• Experience developing large-scale distributed systems and working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of security and systems that handle sensitive data, as well as good knowledge of SQL, is required.
• Experience in the financial services industry or professional services is preferred.
• A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Nice to have qualifications include experience with Agile Methodology, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), Web Application Security (OWASP), persistence frameworks like Hibernate, and databases such as MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, or NoSQL.
