Aequilibrium is seeking a Back End Java Developer with expertise in integrating and extending the Backbase digital banking platform.
The position is fully remote, allowing candidates from around the world to apply.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience with the Backbase digital banking platform.
A minimum of 5 years of production-level experience with Java is required.
Knowledge of Spring and its extensions, including Web MVC, Spring Boot, and Spring Security, is essential.
Proficiency in SOAP and RESTful Web Services, as well as tools like XML, JSON, and RAML, is necessary.
Familiarity with microservices architecture is required.
Experience with Unit Testing using JUnit is a must.
Candidates should have knowledge of application servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic, or JBoss.
A strong grasp of Git, Subversion, and other source control technologies is needed.
Familiarity with Enterprise Integration Patterns and frameworks like Apache Camel is preferred.
Experience in developing large-scale distributed systems is required.
Candidates should have experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures.
Knowledge of cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes, is necessary.
Experience with security and systems handling sensitive data is required.
Good knowledge of SQL is essential.
Experience in the financial services industry or professional services is preferred.
A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field is required.
