Remote Back End Java Developer - Backbase (Canada or LATAM only)

Description:

• Aequilibrium is seeking a Back End Java Developer with expertise in integrating and extending the Backbase digital banking platform.
• The position is fully remote but is only open to candidates located in Canada or LATAM.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 5+ years of production-level experience with Java.
• Knowledge of Spring and its extensions, including Web MVC, Spring Boot, and Spring Security, is necessary.
• Experience with SOAP and RESTful Web Services, as well as tools like XML, JSON, and RAML, is required.
• Candidates should have knowledge of microservices architecture and experience performing Unit Testing using JUnit.
• Familiarity with application servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic, or JBoss is essential.
• A strong grasp of Git, Subversion, and other source control technologies is required.
• Candidates should be familiar with Enterprise Integration Patterns and frameworks like Apache Camel.
• Experience developing large-scale distributed systems and working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures is necessary.
• Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes, is required.
• Candidates must have experience with security and systems that handle sensitive data, as well as good knowledge of SQL.
• Experience in the financial services industry or professional services is a plus.
