The position is for a Contract Senior Software Engineer specializing in React and Node, based in Portugal with remote work options.
The role is full-time and operates under a B2B contract.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a client team responsible for building innovative products.

You will work in a fast-paced engineering environment, delivering exciting projects and achieving outstanding results.
Daily responsibilities include crafting excellent products, continuously delivering changes to products, collaborating on engineering initiatives, participating in regular show and tells, and joining clients’ internal events.
Requirements:
Proven commercial experience working with React and Node is required.
You must have experience in JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, closures, and ES6 concepts.
Experience with GraphQL is necessary.
Familiarity with distributed version control systems, such as Git, is required.
You should have experience with both relational and schema-less databases.
A strong focus on continuous integration and delivery is essential.
You must have a strong focus on test-driven development (TDD).
Experience in building high-performance and scalable applications is required.
A good understanding of the design and implementation of RESTful web services is necessary.
Familiarity with performance monitoring tools is a plus.
You should be able to maintain composure when debugging production issues.
Candidates must be self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for explaining technical concepts in business-friendly language.
You should be analytical, problem-solving oriented, and a believer in diversity and fairness.
Legal eligibility to live and work in Portugal is required.
Availability to work a flexible on-call rota for critical incident resolution is necessary.
