Risk Labs is the foundation and core team behind UMA and its products, including oSnap, Oval, and the Across protocol.
The team operates with a cohesive culture, focusing on decentralized protocols governed by community members in DAOs.
The company is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to lead the effort in turning design into reality across various projects.
The role involves working on quick proof-of-concept projects or within a methodical product development cycle.
The frontend engineer will guide and shape the user experience across UMA dApps and be integral to user interactions with the product.
Strong time management skills and the ability to scope and triage work in collaboration with engineers and the product team are required.
The tech stack includes React, Typescript, ethers, Solidity, hardhat, Javascript, Node.js, and web3.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 2+ years of full-time experience with frontend development in React.
A strong understanding of React or an alternative frontend framework is required.
A passion for blockchain technology, cryptoeconomic protocol design, game theory, or decentralized finance is essential.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and write secure, high-quality code is necessary.
Preferred experience includes React, Ethers.js, Typescript, NextJS and Vercel, and Solidity/EVM.
