Description:

Kpler is seeking a talented and motivated senior software engineer to join their engineering team.
This role focuses on the Notifications platform, which develops software that provides real-time notifications for Kpler's global user base across all products.
Key responsibilities include creating the engine for notifications, integrating different datasets, onboarding Kpler crews, participating in roadmap creation, and designing, developing, and deploying engineering work.
The engineer will work closely with other engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software and implement good engineering practices.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience with Scala, Java, Typescript, and proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Strong command of written and spoken English is necessary.
Experience with best software engineering practices such as TDD, clean code, SOLID principles, pair programming, and software design patterns is required.
Proficiency in relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is essential.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes, including GitHub pipelines and tools like SonarQube, is needed.
Proven experience with Git and Docker is required.
Knowledge of at least one Agile framework is necessary.
