The Mobile Engineer will join the Video Platform team within the OTT business vertical.
This role involves shaping the growth of the video content platform, impacting over 100 million users with around 1 billion views.
The position is mid to senior-level, requiring a strong technical background and maturity, with candidates typically having 4-7 years of experience, though those with less experience may also apply if they demonstrate the necessary skills.
Responsibilities include building and improving video experiences, writing maintainable code, collaborating with product designers, ensuring excellent video playback, and contributing to organization-wide mobile engineering solutions.
The role emphasizes a culture of collaborative and agile problem-solving, adopting practices from Extreme Programming and Continuous Delivery.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a strong grasp of writing and structuring idiomatic code for Android and/or iOS platforms.
Familiarity with the Flutter ecosystem is preferred, or a willingness to learn it.
Experience with JSON, REST, and other API technologies is required.
Knowledge of architectural patterns such as BloC, Provider Pattern, MVVM, MVI, and Redux is necessary.
A solid understanding of basic video player technologies is essential.
Candidates should possess curiosity, a collaborative mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.
The ability to understand user problems and propose solutions considering trade-offs is important.
Familiarity with best practices in coding, user experience design, and software delivery is expected.
Working experience with Extreme Programming practices is a plus.
