• Pelago is seeking a Remote Senior Mobile Engineer to join their team and help redefine the way travelers explore the world.
• The role involves taking end-to-end ownership of workstreams to deliver real value to users and solving user problems related to travel planning and booking.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in building production-grade, performant frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks like React/React-Native, adhering to the latest ECMAScript standards (ES6/ES7) and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS, SCSS, or LESS is required.
• Familiarity with Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery approaches, including Continuous Integration and Test-Driven Development (TDD), is necessary.
• Candidates should have strong people skills that foster an open and collaborative environment and experience in communicating ideas to various team members.
• Proactive collaboration with backend teams to build scalable APIs and design data structures is essential.
• Experience or knowledge of working with GraphQL APIs, as well as experience in the travel industry or with B2C consumer platforms, is considered a plus.
• Experience in deploying or shipping production apps to the App Store or Play Store is also advantageous.
