The role is a senior-level engineering position, requiring a strong technical background and maturity.
Candidates with 6-10 years of experience are preferred, but those with less than 5 years may also apply if they demonstrate the necessary skills.
Responsibilities include building and improving services for video experiences, writing maintainable code, leading system design discussions, ensuring service reliability, and collaborating across teams.
The role involves adopting agile problem-solving practices and contributing to the product development process.
On-call support is required on a rotational basis.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a strong grasp of idiomatic code in Go and JavaScript.
Experience in building high-performing services and APIs is essential.
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases is required.
Candidates should have experience with Serverless and Event Driven architectures.
A solid understanding of video engineering concepts is necessary.
Curiosity, collaboration, and strong problem-solving skills are important traits.
The ability to understand user problems and propose solutions is required.
Familiarity with best practices in coding, system design, and software delivery is expected.
A good understanding of cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform is needed.
Experience with Extreme Programming practices is preferred.
An interest in Machine Learning, NLP, or AI is a plus.
