The Senior Backend Software Engineer will join the Partners Experience (PEX) team in Brazil, focusing on the supplier side of the Marketplace.
The role involves building scalable architectures, writing clean code, and improving partner satisfaction and engagement.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining services with a focus on performance and stability.
The engineer will promote development best practices, support existing systems, create new services, and ensure high code quality standards.
The position requires participation in incident resolution and troubleshooting in production, as well as addressing technical debts in the engineering backlog.
The engineer is expected to inspire and empower others by promoting wellbeing in the workplace.
Requirements:
Candidates must have solid experience with Kotlin, Java, or Go.
A data-driven mindset is essential, with a focus on simplifying development scope.
Applicants should be eager to learn and share knowledge, continuously improving their technical and communication skills.
Expertise in SQL/NoSQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB is required, along with knowledge of event-driven architectures and message brokers like RabbitMQ and KAFKA.
Familiarity with concepts such as DDD, SOLID, and Design Patterns in distributed systems is necessary.
Candidates must have outstanding experience with REST concepts and be capable of designing and building APIs.
Proficiency in presenting work in English or Portuguese is required.
Prior expertise with Kotlin, Golang, or Java, as well as expert knowledge of SQL and NoSQL technologies, is mandatory.
