The Senior Backend Software Engineer will join the Partners Experience (PEX) team in Portugal (remote).
This role focuses on the supplier side of the Marketplace, providing products and services for partners and enhancing their corporate client base.
The PEX team's mission is to improve Partner experience, streamline processes, and elevate Partner satisfaction and engagement with Wellhub.
Responsibilities include building scalable architectures, writing clean code, designing and maintaining services, and ensuring project delivery.
The engineer will support existing systems, create new services, and influence other engineers through knowledge sharing.
The role requires participation in incident resolution and maintaining system reliability and performance.

Requirements:

Candidates must have solid experience with Kotlin, Java, or Go.
A data-driven approach to product decisions is essential.
Candidates should continuously seek to simplify their development scope.
Eagerness to learn and share knowledge is required.
Expertise in SQL/NoSQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB is mandatory.
Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message brokers like RabbitMQ, KAFKA, and ActiveMQ is necessary.
Familiarity with DDD, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and distributed systems architecture is expected.
Experience with REST concepts and API design is required.
Candidates must be able to present their work in English or Portuguese.
Prior expertise with Kotlin, Golang, or Java, along with expert knowledge of SQL and NoSQL technologies, is mandatory.
