Description:

  • The Senior DevOps Engineer at Recharge is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the cloud platform using Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
  • They are expected to guide less-senior engineers and collaborate with other departments to enhance developer and customer experience through infrastructure or pipeline improvements.
  • The role involves implementing new technologies to address technical challenges, debugging production issues, and designing and maintaining enterprise Kubernetes infrastructure.
  • The engineer will also build and maintain CI/CD workflows, address performance issues, conduct code reviews, and work on platform design and support for up to 75% of their time.
  • They will be required to perform maintenance and updates with a high attention to detail and scalability.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience with k8s, IaC, Terraform, and Docker.
  • 5+ years of experience with Monitoring, Metrics, and Logging solutions like Splunk.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud-native environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Experience with auto-scaling, serverless infrastructure components, and deploying and configuring Open Telemetry for Logs and metrics.
  • Proficiency in Git/Gitlab, lint, and other development tools, as well as Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD toolsets.
  • Ability to deep dive into code (preferably Python) and a knack for engineering simple solutions to complex problems.
  • Willingness to participate in a first line of support on-call rotation and work remotely to make an impact.
