Description:

MoonPay is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their Consumer group, focusing on mobile, web, widget, and partner experience products.
The engineering team operates in small cross-functional squads consisting of 4-6 engineers, a Product Manager, and a Product Designer.
Responsibilities include architecting and developing new and existing products and features, collaborating with Product Managers to devise solutions, and working with other product teams to enhance customer-facing features.
The role involves contributing to project estimations, planning, execution, and integrating with external service providers for smooth operations.
The engineer will maintain and improve the existing codebase and write fully tested, high-quality, and performant code.

Requirements:

Candidates should have experience in Software Engineering at leading startups or fast-growing tech companies.
Applicants must be confident in developing, releasing, and maintaining consumer-facing applications in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
Familiarity with the tech stack, including React.JS, Next.JS, and TypeScript, is required, or candidates should be willing to quickly upskill.
A solid understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and best practices is necessary.
Experience with applications deployed on public cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure is essential, with a preference for GCP.
As a Senior Engineer, candidates are expected to mentor and coach other engineers, champion high-quality code, and contribute to engineering standards and practices.
