Description:

MoonPay is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to work on monetization in a remote capacity from various locations including London, Madrid, Barcelona, Bucharest, Lisbon, and Krakow.
The role involves architecting and developing new and existing products and features related to monetization.
The engineer will collaborate with the head of monetization, data scientists, and engineers to implement new experimentation and algorithmic pricing features across RAMPs, DeFi Trading, and Swaps.
Responsibilities include working with other product teams to enhance customer-facing features, contributing to project estimations, planning, and execution, and integrating with external service providers.
The engineer will maintain and improve the existing codebase and write fully tested, high-quality, performant code.

Requirements:

Candidates must have extensive full-stack engineering experience at leading startups or fast-growing tech companies, preferably in marketplace or platform-type businesses that utilize algorithmic pricing and A/B testing.
Experience with projects involving pricing, promotions, rewards, and/or loyalty programs using both backend and frontend technologies is required.
Applicants should have experience building experimentation platforms and infrastructure for algorithmic pricing solutions.
A strong understanding of continuous delivery practices is necessary.
Candidates must be confident in developing, releasing, and maintaining server applications in a fast-paced, iterative team environment.
Familiarity with the company's tech stack or the ability to quickly cross-train and up-skill is essential.
A deep understanding of database structures and system design is required.
Cloud-native experience with Google Cloud or similar platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is necessary.
Bonus points will be awarded for open-source contributions or experience in web3.
