Job Summary:
The Senior Software Engineer II will play a crucial role in transforming the home services industry by delivering innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software solutions, provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and solve complex technical issues.
Participation in agile development processes and maintaining technical documentation are key responsibilities.
Requirements:
8+ years of professional software development experience in building backend applications.
Proficiency in JVM, preferably Scala, in a microservice architecture.
Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL), and production Kubernetes.
Experience with development tools like Git, Docker, Jenkins, etc.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is advantageous.
Knowledge of Kafka or similar event streaming platforms and message queues.
Proficiency in continuous delivery, integration practices, version control, test-driven development (TDD), and automated testing frameworks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
Ability to work within core US business hours/time zone expectations, specifically Eastern Standard Time (EST) overlap.
Fluency in English and Hindi.
