Description:

Analog is building a true Layer-0 blockchain network that facilitates seamless communication of time data between decentralized applications across different chains.
The company is seeking an expert Substrate and Rust Developer to assist with the design, development, and implementation of a new Blockchain proof of concept.
The role involves collaborating in the development of a testnet with core features such as blockchain runtime, multi-chain support, protocol interoperability, consensus mechanism, gRPC, APIs, and a new smart contract scripting system.
As a founding engineer, the individual will redefine legacy blockchain frameworks and eliminate their limitations with innovative solutions.
Responsibilities include hands-on involvement in feature building, driving execution plans, taking ownership of assigned modules, ensuring quality and stability, and participating in test-driven development.
The engineer will also mentor junior developers, maintain technical documentation, contribute to product change proposals, and stay updated on industry standards.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in computer science, preferably in low-level programming.
A strong background in core system programming languages and concepts, specifically with Rust and Substrate, is required.
At least 2+ years of experience in blockchain, consensus protocols, decentralized systems, applied cryptography, compilers, or p2p systems is necessary.
A minimum of 1+ year experience in Substrate is mandatory.
Experience in tailored system applications using Rust, Substrate, Go, or C++ is preferred.
Proficiency with network protocols such as HTTP/2, TCP/2, P2P, and IPFS is essential.
Experience in the architecture and implementation of use case-specific network protocols or databases is a plus.
