The role involves designing and developing scalable Web3 backend APIs for seamless interaction between backend and frontend applications and the blockchain.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining backend services for smart contract interaction, specializing in smart contract lifecycle management, and optimizing blockchain data processing.
The position requires collaboration on cross-functional projects, implementing best practices for blockchain security, and advancing an infrastructure-as-code approach.
The role offers the opportunity to drive innovation in Web3 technologies by researching and integrating new blockchain protocols and tools.

Requirements:

Candidates must be able to work autonomously on research, specification, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and patching their code.
A strong background in Software Engineering and some DevOps experience is required.
Extensive experience in shipping production-grade code that handles thousands of user interactions/transactions is necessary.
A minimum of 4 years of experience with Node.js/TypeScript and highly scalable Web API engineering is required.
Strong experience with high throughput database systems and maintaining scalable microservices systems is essential.
Good experience with distributed systems and/or container orchestration is preferred.
A strong interest in the Web3/crypto industry and experience using crypto applications (e.g., Uniswap, Aave) is required.
Bonus points for experience with Web3 libraries and backend development (e.g., ethers.js, viem), Solidity smart contract development, knowledge about the inner workings of the EVM, and experience with P2P systems and libraries (e.g., libp2p).
