Description:

Picus Security is seeking passionate Software Engineers at all levels to join their Engineering team, which builds innovative cybersecurity products for both cloud and on-prem environments.
The role involves identifying gaps in security controls and offering mitigation options, with engineers tackling a variety of technical challenges including attack simulation engines and user dashboards.
Engineers will be part of a team that emphasizes product development, delivery, growth, and teamwork culture, with opportunities for personal improvement and collaboration.
Responsibilities include contributing to code, system design, and features, as well as sharing best practices and participating in agile methodologies.
Engineers will work closely with UX and PM teams to enhance product usability and performance, while also engaging in system design, refactoring, and clean code practices.
The position encourages continuous learning and teaching of best practices related to frameworks and technologies used, such as Go, REST, and event-driven communication.
Team members are expected to take responsibility, stay updated on engineering best practices, and foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements:

A BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field is required.
Candidates must have a solid foundation in Software Design, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
Experience in software development in at least one programming language is necessary, with a preference for Go.
Knowledge of operating systems and network technologies is required.
Familiarity with RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred) and NoSQL database management systems is essential.
Understanding of Test Driven Development and Unit Testing is necessary.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills are required.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.
A humble, friendly, adaptive, and result-oriented personality is preferred.
Hands-on experience with AWS or other public cloud computing platforms is preferred.
Experience in DevOps processes and concepts is preferred.
Knowledge in the Cyber Security domain is preferred.
