Remote Software Engineer II

Description:

• Storable is seeking an intermediate Software Engineer to contribute to the development and scaling of their Facility Management Software.
• The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications using technologies such as Node, Typescript, postgres, and redis.
• Responsibilities include enhancing design policies, processes, and procedures, building/improving CI/CD pipelines, and effectively communicating and coordinating within the team and with business partners.
• The position requires investigating and developing skills in new technologies, monitoring system activities, and providing necessary support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of design/development experience with Typescript.
• Proficiency in Node, redis, and postgres.
• Understanding of best practices in the full SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, version control, and software operations.
• Experience in writing SQL queries and balancing performance tuning with maintainable code.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a curiosity for understanding systems.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player.
• Quick learner with enthusiasm for challenging tasks.
