Remote Software Engineer II

Description:

• The Software Engineer II position at FloQast involves playing a key role in shipping high-impact features by identifying product and engineering opportunities to exceed customer expectations.
• Responsibilities include building user-focused experiences using React, NodeJS, and MongoDB, leveraging AWS services like S3 and Lambda, and collaborating on technical vision and complex projects.
• The role requires continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and systems, owning vertically sliced features through the full SDLC, and soliciting feedback from stakeholders.
• The ideal candidate will work closely with the team, sales, and customers to define, prioritize, and build new features in an agile environment.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of professional full stack experience in web app development, RESTful API design, or data modeling.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, NodeJS, or MongoDB with the ability to develop in their patterns and practices.
• Track record of shipping high-quality products, developing projects at scale, and quickly turning business and product ideas into engineering solutions.
• Motivation to solve customer problems, take a product to market, and continuously improve skills.
