Description:
Storable is seeking an intermediate Software Engineer to contribute to the development and scaling of their Facility Management Software.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications using technologies such as Node, Typescript, postgres, and redis.
Responsibilities include enhancing design policies, processes, and procedures, building/improving CI/CD pipelines, and effectively communicating and coordinating within the team and with business partners.
The position requires investigating and developing skills in new technologies, monitoring system activities, and providing necessary support.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience is a must.
3+ years of design/development experience with Typescript.
Proficiency in Node, redis, and postgres.
Understanding of best practices in SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, version control, and software operations.
Experience in writing SQL queries and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative attitude.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a quick learner.
Nice to have: Experience with cloud tools like Kubernetes, DataDog, Istio, Kafka, and AWS suite, familiarity with Design Patterns, Agile practices, BDD, and AWS certification.
