Remote Software Engineer II

Description:

• Storable is seeking an intermediate Software Engineer to contribute to the development and scaling of their Facility Management Software.
• The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications using technologies such as Node, Typescript, postgres, and redis.
• Responsibilities include enhancing design policies, processes, and procedures, building/improving CI/CD pipelines, and effectively communicating and coordinating within the team and with business partners.
• The position requires investigating and developing skills in new technologies, monitoring system activities, and providing necessary support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience is a must.
• 3+ years of design/development experience with Typescript.
• Proficiency in Node, redis, and postgres.
• Understanding of best practices in SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, version control, and software operations.
• Experience in writing SQL queries and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative attitude.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a quick learner.
• Nice to have: Experience with cloud tools like Kubernetes, DataDog, Istio, Kafka, and AWS suite, familiarity with Design Patterns, Agile practices, BDD, and AWS certification.
