Description:

Risk Labs, the foundation behind UMA and the Across protocol, is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to help design and scale their data infrastructure.
The role involves architecting and building data infrastructure, primarily focused on the Across protocol with potential work on the UMA protocol.
Responsibilities include designing systems to index complex onchain data, developing large-scale data pipelines, and participating in code review and mentorship.
The ideal candidate may have experience in data engineering at software, financial services, or related technology organizations, critical thinking skills, a passion for blockchain technology, and a growth mindset.

Requirements:

4+ years full-time experience in Data Engineering at a software, financial services, or related technology organization.
2+ years of experience with databases and data pipelines.
Outstanding critical thinking skills; low ego, high curiosity, and comfort in being wrong.
Demonstrated ability to learn new tech and write secure and clean code.
Passion for blockchain technology, cryptonomic protocol design, game theory, and decentralized finance.
Growth mindset; a desire to learn from and mentor those around you.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially written.
Experience with blockchain-based projects is a bonus.
Familiarity with Python, Solidity, Typescript, and GCP.
