Description:
The Sr Software Engineer will be responsible for developing enhancements and fixing bugs in Henry Schein One software.
Participation in Agile/Scrum meetings.
Mentoring junior engineers.
Solving complex problems using expertise, passion, and curiosity.
Writing code that demonstrates a deep understanding of object-oriented design, refactoring, clean code, clean architecture, and solid engineering principles.
Collaborating with Product and UX Designers to create user-friendly interfaces.
Working with the DevOps team to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Embracing Test Driven Development (TDD) and guiding others in its implementation.
Travel requirement is typically less than 10%.
The work environment is office-based with no specific physical demands.
Technologies used include C#, .Net 4.7, C++, WinForms, WPF, WinUI, MS SQL Server, GitLab, Jira, and Client-Server Architecture.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in building desktop UI and backend enterprise software with the specified technology stack.
Proficiency in unit testing.
Understanding of domain-driven design.
Experience with cross-team interdependent roadmaps.
Familiarity with agile methodologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to estimate engineering work effectively within 6β12 month timelines.
Benefits:
Competitive salary range of $100,000 - $135,000.
