Remote Sr .NET Software Engineer

Description:

• The Sr Software Engineer will be responsible for developing enhancements and fixing bugs in Henry Schein One software.
• Participation in Agile/Scrum meetings.
• Mentoring junior engineers.
• Solving complex problems using expertise, passion, and curiosity.
• Writing code that demonstrates a deep understanding of object-oriented design, refactoring, clean code, clean architecture, and solid engineering principles.
• Collaborating with Product and UX Designers to create user-friendly interfaces.
• Working with the DevOps team to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Embracing Test Driven Development (TDD) and guiding others in its implementation.
• Travel requirement is typically less than 10%.
• The work environment is office-based with no specific physical demands.
• Technologies used include C#, .Net 4.7, C++, WinForms, WPF, WinUI, MS SQL Server, GitLab, Jira, and Client-Server Architecture.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in building desktop UI and backend enterprise software with the specified technology stack.
• Proficiency in unit testing.
• Understanding of domain-driven design.
• Experience with cross-team interdependent roadmaps.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to estimate engineering work effectively within 6–12 month timelines.
