Description:
Storable is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to enhance software quality and improve the design/development process for their Facility Management Software.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications using C# (.NET), ASP.NET, React, and other technologies.
Responsibilities include optimizing the Azure account, managing resources, monitoring performance, ensuring security best practices, and implementing cost-effective solutions.
The engineer will build and improve the CI/CD pipeline and enhance design policies, processes, procedures, methods, and tests.
Effective communication and coordination within the squad, across the technology team, and with business partners are essential to deliver on top priorities.
Participation in an agile team within a Scrum environment is expected.
The role encourages best practices in creating effective designs and writing maintainable, reusable code.
The engineer will investigate and develop skills in new technologies and monitor everyday system activities to provide necessary support.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related program or equivalent work experience is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of design/development experience with C# (.NET) and ASP.NET.
Azure experience or certification is necessary.
A solid understanding of best software engineering practices for the full development life cycle (SDLC) is required.
Strong relational database skills and experience in developing web-based applications are essential.
A passion for mentoring peers to lead best standards and produce maintainable technology deliverables is expected.
A consistent track record of leading successful delivery for large-scale projects is required.
Experience with Agile methodologies is necessary.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for interfacing with business stakeholders and engineers.
A strong history of implementing testing methodologies to enhance quality is required.
Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills and be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and responsible team players.
A self-starter attitude with the ability to independently solve problems and produce results is essential.
