Description:

Risk Labs is seeking a Senior Smart Contract Engineer to join the Across protocol team, which focuses on enhancing blockchain usability and interoperability.
The role involves designing and building protocol upgrades from concept to deployment.
Responsibilities include implementing smart contracts with an emphasis on security, simplicity, ease of use, and gas-efficiency.
The engineer will participate in code reviews and mentorship within a collaborative open-source environment, helping others to grow their technical skills.
The position also requires writing offchain code to interact with the protocol, ensuring high correctness, efficiency, and anti-fragility.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of full-time experience in Software Engineering within a software, financial services, or related organization.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience with blockchain-based projects, including hackathons and personal projects, is required.
Outstanding critical thinking skills are essential, along with a low ego, high curiosity, and comfort in being wrong.
A passion for great software and a desire to understand the underlying principles of the work is necessary.
Demonstrated ability to apply existing skills to new technologies is expected.
A growth mindset and a desire to learn from and mentor others are important.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in written form, are required.

The compensation package includes competitive salaries ranging from $100,000 to $200,000 (USD) and meaningful token options that can grow with voting rewards.
