Description:

• Storable is seeking an experienced Software Engineer who is passionate about software quality and improving the design/development process.
• The role involves building and scaling industry-leading Facility Management Software.
• The position requires designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications using technologies such as Node.js, React, C# (.NET), ASP.NET, SQL, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• Responsibilities include optimizing AWS accounts, managing resources, monitoring performance, ensuring security best practices, and implementing cost-effective solutions.
• The engineer will build and improve the continuous integrations/continuous development (CI/CD) pipeline.
• The role also involves enhancing design policies, processes, procedures, methods, and tests.
• Effective communication and coordination within the squad, across the technology team, and with business partners are essential to deliver on top priorities.
• Participation as a member of an agile team in a Scrum environment is expected.
• The engineer will encourage best practices, mentor peers, and investigate new technologies.
• Monitoring everyday system activities and providing required support is also part of the job.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related degree program or equivalent work experience is required.
• Candidates must have 5+ years of design/development experience with Node.js, React, C# (.NET), ASP.NET, and SQL.
• A solid understanding of best software engineering practices for the full development life cycle (SDLC) is necessary.
• Strong relational database skills and experience in developing web-based applications are required.
• A passion for mentoring engineer peers and leading best standards is essential.
• A consistent track record of leading successful delivery for large-scale projects is expected.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to interface with business stakeholders and engineers.
• A strong history of implementing testing methodologies to enhance quality is needed.
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills and be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and responsible team players.
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to independently solve problems and produce results is essential.
