Remote Staff Software Engineer at Circle

Description:

The Staff Software Engineer at Circle will extend the company's in-house blockchain systems infrastructure to support global tokenization.
Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, procedures, and problems to enhance existing systems, building scalable microservices for secure APIs across blockchain and traditional banking protocols, collaborating with Product and Engineering teams, troubleshooting system malfunctions, and developing publicly accessible APIs for easy integration with payment systems.
Other duties involve integrating Platform Services with financial technologies, consulting with management on system principles, writing infrastructure for optimal payment experiences, and more.

Minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience in object-oriented languages like Go or Java.
Possession of a Computer Science degree or a closely related field.
Technical leadership experience with teams larger than 4 in architecture and system design.
Expertise in API design, payments processing, or blockchains.
Deep understanding and experience in software architecture, design, deployment, RESTful API design, cloud services, container orchestration systems, SQL databases, and more.
Strong focus on coding standards, code quality, and test coverage for continuous delivery.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with remote teams.
Self-starter with a curious mindset, ability to work at a fast pace, ship software that enhances user experience, and improve work independently.

The position is eligible for day-one PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates.
Base Pay Range: $172,500 - $227,500 with an Annual Bonus Target of 15%.
