Remote Staff Software Engineer

Description:

• The Staff Software Engineer at Circle will extend the company's in-house blockchain systems infrastructure to support global tokenization.
• Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, procedures, and problems to enhance existing systems, building scalable microservices for reliable and secure APIs across blockchain and traditional banking protocols, collaborating with Product and Engineering teams, troubleshooting malfunctions, and developing publicly accessible APIs for easy integration with payment systems.
• The role also involves integrating Platform Services with leading banks and financial technologies, writing infrastructure for optimal payment experiences, and other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience in object-oriented languages like Go or Java.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Technical leadership experience with teams larger than 4 in architecture and system design.
• Expertise in API design, payments processing, or blockchains.
• Deep understanding and experience in software architecture, design, deployment, Web3, blockchain, RESTful API design, cloud services, container orchestration systems, SQL databases, and coding standards.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate with remote teams, and a self-starter mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Benefits:

• Base Pay Range: $172,500 - $227,500.
• Annual Bonus Target: 15%.
