Remote AI Optimization Engineer

Description:

• Lead and define optimization capabilities across Datacor's product suite.
• Reinvent management of end-to-end operations for process manufacturers and distributors.
• Set technical direction, establish algorithmic foundation, and drive delivery from design to production.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and domain experts in a fast-moving team.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field with 3+ years of experience, or a PhD.
• Proven track record in optimization solutions with measurable business impact in supply chain, logistics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in at least one major OR/optimization framework (e.g., Google OR-Tools, Gurobi, CPLEX).
• Strong programming skills in Python; C++ or Java is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI.
• Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong product ownership mindset and outcomes-driven approach.
