Remote Application Security Engineer

Description:

• Perform application security testing on web and mobile applications, microservices, infrastructure code, and open source code.
• Collaborate with development teams and security personnel to assess risks and recommend remediation steps for vulnerabilities.
• Educate engineers on secure coding practices and enhance application security awareness.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in application security testing (DAST, SAST, OSS testing, SCA, IAC).
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications (C|ASE, CSSLP, GWAPT).
• Experience with OWASP Top Ten vulnerabilities and SDLC.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Ethical integrity and collaborative mindset.
