Remote Application Security Engineer

Description:

• Join MyFitnessPal as a Security Engineer II focusing on Application Security to secure code, applications, and development processes.
• Collaborate with the Productivity Engineering: Automation & Self-Service (PEAS) team to enhance security in CI/CD and self-service platforms.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in security engineering, application security, or software engineering.
• Understanding of application security assessment techniques (SAST, DAST, SCA) and secure development practices (OWASP Top 10).
• Experience with AI-assisted tooling and security triage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to document technical details clearly.
• Education equivalent to BS in Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
