Remote Backend Engineer

Description:

• Flex is a company focused on simplifying HSA and FSA payments for health and wellness brands.
• The Backend Engineer will design and manage services and APIs for eligibility verification, split payments, and issuing Letters of Medical Necessity.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in building production backend services and APIs in a typed language (e.g., Rust, TypeScript/Node, Go, Python).
• Strong relational database fundamentals and experience designing APIs for team or partner use.
• Resourceful, curious, and quick to learn new tools.
