Seeking a Staff Backend Platform Engineer to set technical direction for production backend systems of an AI platform.
Role involves architecture and engineering standards for integrations, data ingestion, messaging infrastructure, and orchestration.

Requirements:

8+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend platforms, integrations, or data infrastructure.
Strong proficiency in Python and experience with FastAPI, Celery, and Postgres.
Proven experience in deploying and operating production backend systems at scale.
Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives and setting engineering standards.
Familiarity with modern cloud architectures, particularly AWS, and large datasets.
