Description:

The position is for a Senior Data Engineer at Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions, a leading IT and telecommunications service provider in Hungary.
The role involves working directly with a customer from the energy solution industry, focusing on decarbonization efforts in major global industries.
The candidate will be part of an international team within the T-Systems International Data Intelligence Business unit.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining data-centric applications using Python, monitoring and optimizing system performance with Datadog, and creating efficient internal processes.
The role requires applying DevOps practices, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Clean Code principles in daily tasks.
The candidate will also be responsible for solving problems and managing challenges related to system operations.

Requirements:

A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience in IT is required.
Strong experience with Python is essential for this position.
Candidates must have strong experience with Datadog for system performance monitoring.
Experience with Pandas for time series analysis is required.
Good English written and oral communication skills are necessary.
Proficiency in AWS for efficient storage use and cloud deployment is required.
