Description:

Seeking a German-speaking Senior Data Engineer to build complex data platforms and provide data strategy consulting.
Work on projects primarily in MS Fabric or Databricks environments for DACH region clients.

Requirements:

Strong experience with cloud data platforms: MS Fabric or Databricks.
Proficient in data engineering: SQL, Python, PySpark, ETL/ELT design.
Experience in data modeling: dimensional, normalized, and lakehouse patterns.
Familiarity with orchestration and CI/CD tools: Airflow, Azure Data Factory, GitOps.
Experience in performance and cost optimization.
Basic knowledge of streaming and messaging solutions: Kafka, Event Hubs.
Relevant experience in data visualization, e.g., Power BI dashboards.
High level of independence and responsibility in work.
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
German language proficiency at least B2 level, English at C1 level.

Diverse data platform projects with mid to large enterprises in the DACH region.
Work with modern cloud technologies (MS Fabric, Databricks).
Significant role in architecture design from assessment to implementation.
