The role involves shaping data platforms, providing structure in complex environments, and operating at the intersection of data engineering expertise and client trust.

Requirements:

Proven experience in leading data platform projects from concept to execution, including architectural decision-making.
Strong understanding of Databricks, including Delta Lake and Unity Catalog, with the ability to design scalable solutions.
Proficiency in Python and SQL for clean, maintainable code and data pipeline development.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and building ETL/ELT pipelines.
Ability to transform vague project goals into concrete plans and architectures.
Balance between quality and pragmatism in design decisions.
Capability to elevate team performance through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Strong communication skills to influence decisions at various organizational levels.

Competitive salary: HUF 2,000,000 – 2,700,000 gross per month, depending on experience.
