The role involves shaping data platforms, providing structure in complex environments, and operating at the intersection of data engineering expertise and client trust.

Requirements:

Proven experience in leading data platform projects from concept to execution, making architectural decisions, and improving outcomes.
Strong understanding of Databricks, including Delta Lake and Unity Catalog, with the ability to design scalable data solutions.
Proficiency in Python and SQL for writing clean, maintainable code and building data pipelines.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and building ETL/ELT pipelines.
Ability to define concrete approaches and architectures from vague ambitions.
Balance between pragmatism and quality in design decisions.
Capability to elevate team performance through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Strong communication skills to influence decisions at the intersection of technology and business.

Competitive salary: CZK 120,000 – 180,000 gross per month, based on experience.
