Remote Data Scientist

Description:

• Hilo by Aktiia is seeking a Data Scientist to analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights for clinical, scientific, product, and business questions.
• The role involves independent data preparation, statistical analysis, and collaboration with various teams to support scientific publications and decision-making.

Requirements:

• MSc in Data Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Data Science, Statistics, or related fields; strong candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Spark is a plus.
• Strong statistical foundations and understanding of clinical study design and biostatistics.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and ability to communicate findings clearly.
• Fluent in English and based in Western Europe (e.g., Switzerland, Spain, UK, France, Germany).
