Description:

  • The DevOps Architect is responsible for ensuring adherence to the SLAs as per contract.
  • This role involves taking the lead on urgent issues and projects, ensuring statuses are properly communicated and appropriate staffing resources are assigned as required.
  • The architect is responsible for documentation of system configuration, processes, and tools used by the team.
  • A thorough process methodology and the ability to communicate with all stakeholders is essential.
  • The position requires working collaboratively with development engineering to create and deploy a CI/CD infrastructure.
  • The architect will develop and implement environments for quality assurance, development, etc.
  • Responsibilities include deploying and supporting applications in a cloud environment.
  • The role entails ensuring infrastructure security and making sure environments are secure, reliable, scalable, and automated.
  • Providing direct server support during various operations such as deployment and general production is required.
  • The architect will collaborate with developers to ensure new environments meet requirements and conform to best practices.
  • Designing, implementing, and testing agreed-upon infrastructures is part of the job.
  • Automating the deployment of Linux applications, system configurations, and security settings is necessary.
  • The architect will evaluate candidates for open positions.

Requirements:

  • A BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar relevant field is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of related experience in the professional industry is necessary.
  • Experience working with tools like Jenkins, Azure, App Center Cloud Formation, Ansible, Subversion, Docker, or relevant technologies is required.
  • The candidate must be highly skilled with configuration management tools, primarily Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.
  • Knowledge of both RDBMS and NoSQL data platforms such as MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, and Elasticsearch is essential.
  • Experience using Windows Servers on VMWare, IIS, MSSQL, and MongoDB is required.
  • Advanced level scripting experience in Python, Ruby, Bash, and Powershell is necessary.
  • Strong experience with Linux distributions such as Rhel 8, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux is required.
  • The candidate should have experience working embedded with development teams, helping them automate and optimize processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are essential.
  • A flexible attitude and versatile personality are required for this role.
