Join Wellhub as a Director Software Engineer in Brazil, leading the engineering structure for growth initiatives in a remote position.

Requirements:

Proven experience managing and mentoring high-performing engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong architectural background with experience in designing and scaling complex, distributed systems and modern web applications.
Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and cloud-native architecture patterns.
Proficient in designing RESTful APIs and leading collaboration between frontend and backend teams.
Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
Proficient in one or more backend languages (e.g., Java, Ruby, Go, C++); Golang experience is a plus.
Strong communication skills and experience leading globally distributed teams.
