Description:

Join Wellhub as a Director Software Engineer in the CIA Focus Area, working remotely from Portugal.
Lead and scale the engineering structure to support growth initiatives and enhance the B2B experience for enterprise clients.

Requirements:

Proven experience managing high-performing engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong architectural background with experience in designing and scaling complex systems and web applications.
Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and cloud-native architecture.
Experience with RESTful APIs and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals and database management.
Proficient in backend languages (e.g., Java, Ruby, Go, C++); Golang experience is a plus.
Strong communication skills and experience leading globally distributed teams.
