Description:

  • DataKind seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to enhance the web application and API layer of its education data platform.
  • The role involves building software that transforms complex educational data into usable insights, directly impacting student graduation rates.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of full stack software engineering experience with ownership of frontend and backend systems.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React), backend API development, GCP, Python, and SQL.
  • Experience designing RESTful or GraphQL APIs, writing automated tests, and understanding data modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
