Description:

  • Seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) to manage PostgreSQL and HP Vertica databases on EC2 instances.
  • Responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of critical federal acquisition and assistance systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years as a Database Administrator in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and HP Vertica administration, including backup/restore, replication, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with EC2, OS-level patching, and database security/compliance in a federal environment is a plus.
  • Agile development mindset and a passion for learning new technologies.
