Remote Lead AI Engineer (m/f/d)

Description:

• Lead AI engineering discipline at Flip, focusing on AI architecture, standards, and technical direction.
• Manage and grow a team of three AI engineers while remaining hands-on with coding and problem-solving.
• Influence product architecture decisions and collaborate with product managers and engineering leads.
• Work with technologies including Python, pydantic-ai, qdrant, Azure AI, Kubernetes, Kotlin, Micronaut, and Go.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in backend, platform, or full-stack development.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered systems in production, including multi-agent orchestration.
• Proven technical leadership skills, including architecture ownership and mentoring.
• Strong communication skills and business-fluent English (C1).
