Remote Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (m/w/d)

Description:

• Lead the design, operation, and evolution of central cloud infrastructure and platform services at SYSTABUILD.
• Enhance reliability, security, and scalability of the Database Platform infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership in AWS cloud infrastructure, networking, CI/CD, and security.
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Shape the team's strategy, roadmap, and architecture.
• Manage incident response and ensure a stable environment.
• Implement observability solutions to meet availability targets.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and related technologies (ECS, EC2, RDS, etc.).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of multi-account AWS setups and governance models.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Understanding of cloud networking concepts and security best practices.
• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, etc.).
• Ability to balance hands-on engineering with leadership responsibilities.
