Description:

  • Seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer to design, build, and evolve secure, scalable data platforms for UK Public Sector and Utilities.
  • Role involves technical leadership and hands-on engineering to modernize client data estates with a focus on security, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with real-time streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis).
  • Extensive experience in developing enterprise-scale data platforms, strong SQL skills, and proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with AWS services and Agile delivery environments.
  • Understanding of security and compliance in regulated environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
