Description:

Join BHFT, a proprietary algorithmic trading firm, as a Market Data Engineer responsible for designing and maintaining the Market Data Platform.
Work on capturing, ingesting, storing, and modeling market data from various sources for research, backtesting, and real-time trading.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in building production-grade data systems and launching data lakes/lakehouses.
Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg or similar table formats, market data protocols, and normalizing data from multiple vendors.
Proficient in Python and SQL, with knowledge of Rust, Airflow, Apache Spark, and cloud technologies (AWS S3, Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of data storage optimization and DevOps practices.
Fluent in English for documentation and collaboration.
