Remote Associate, Data Engineer

Description:

• AffirmedRx aims to improve health care outcomes through clarity and integrity in pharmacy benefit management.
• The Associate, Data Engineer maintains the reliability and performance of the Snowflake data warehouse and upstream data ingestion pipelines, supporting daily operations and enhancing the data warehouse.

Requirements:

• Degree in a quantitative or technical field or equivalent experience; early-career role.
• 1–3 years of experience with SQL and cloud data warehouse platforms, preferably Snowflake.
• Familiarity with data files, pipelines, and troubleshooting file/load errors.
• Detail-oriented with a habit of documentation; willingness to participate in shared support rotation.
• Exposure to dbt, Python, Azure, or Couchdrop-style file automation is a plus.
• Familiarity with healthcare and pharmacy data concepts is advantageous.
• Fully remote with reliable internet; occasional off-hours support and travel (10%-20%) may be required.
