Description:

Lead the design, evolution, and reliability of the data platform for GolfNow and the sports technology ecosystem.
Shape data architecture and build scalable, high-quality data systems for analytics, reporting, and product innovation.
Collaborate with engineering, product, analytics, and business stakeholders to create effective data solutions.
Fully remote role with occasional in-person collaboration (approximately 10% of the time).

Requirements:

Significant experience in data engineering, particularly in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
Strong knowledge of modern data architecture, including data modeling and distributed data processing.
Hands-on experience with AWS technologies (Glue, Lambda, Step Functions) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).
Proven ability to influence technical direction and mentor engineers.
