Description:
The Infrastructure and Enterprise Systems practice group (IES) at Kraft Kennedy provides strategic guidance, technology planning, and systems design and integration services for organizations of all sizes.
The IES is responsible for all cloud and on-premises infrastructure, data center technologies, enterprise applications, identity services, cloud security, and compliance.
The position is for an experienced technology professional with strong experience in Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure, security, and collaboration technologies.
Candidates must reside in specific states to be considered for this remote position, including Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, DC, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Ohio, or Washington.
Duties include implementing and supporting infrastructure technologies such as Microsoft Azure, VMware, and networking technologies.
Responsibilities also involve executing migrations of on-premises platforms to cloud infrastructure and managing enterprise support requests from clients.
The role requires executing planned evening and weekend maintenance tasks and participating in a weekly on-call rotation for support assistance.
The engineer will escalate complex client issues to internal and external resources as necessary and provide on-site support when required.
Requirements:
Candidates must have expertise in Microsoft Azure Infrastructure, particularly in Azure Networking, including firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, load balancing, private endpoints, traffic managers, and application gateways.
Proficiency in networking technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, and Meraki is required.
Knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID is essential.
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and higher is necessary.
Candidates should be skilled in PowerShell and have experience in a technology support organization.
A Bachelor’s degree is required along with 5 or more years of experience in IT.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary, as well as strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills are essential for this role.

The position offers a salary range of $85,000 to $140,000, with actual offers depending on qualifications, experience, and location.
